Cherbourg Port facilities

The Ferry Terminal

The Cherbourg cross-Channel ferry terminal entered service on June 22, 1994. It was inaugurated on June 30, 1994, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Cherbourg.
Since then, it has welcomed passengers crossing the English Channel by ferry. The first passengers to pass through the new terminal were those of the Stena Normandie.
